others, one was trained for a teacher of art, and ther passed through a course of training at one of our girls' secondary schools and took a Froebel examination; the remaining candidate has practically not been under in- struction since she left school after taking the Oxford and Cambridge Joint Board Certificate. I have seen this last candidate whom we had sent just before the War as ar exchange teacher to Prussia, She is a capable person and
